Healthcare IT monitoring for hospitals and clinics

A hospital's IT estate is spread across buildings, departments and suppliers. Rapitt watches the clinical and business servers, the workstations on every ward, and the printers and attendance terminals staff depend on — and grades the security of each one.

Clinical systems can't wait for a ticket

When a radiology information system listener stops, images stop flowing. When the database server's data volume fills overnight, admissions slow at seven in the morning. Hospital server monitoring has to catch these before the ward does.

Rapitt watches named services on each clinical server, projects the day each volume fills, and tracks certificates on interfaces between systems. A stopped service can be restarted from the console with the verified state read back, and the alert goes to the on-call engineer by SMS or WhatsApp at once.

Security evidence for audits and accreditation

Healthcare security reviews ask the same questions every year: which systems are unpatched, which have antivirus off, which run an unsupported operating system, who has administrator rights. Rapitt's security grading answers them per host, with passed checks listed and the facts behind each score recorded.

Medical devices and building systems that cannot be patched still appear in the IoT inventory with their open ports, so they can be segmented and documented.

What healthcare teams monitor with Rapitt

Clinical servers

HIS, RIS and PACS servers, lab interfaces, databases and their services.

Ward workstations

Nursing stations and doctors' laptops through the endpoint agent, graded and tracked.

Label and report printers

Toner and status over SNMP, so a ward's printer never runs dry mid-shift.

Attendance terminals

Shift-critical biometric terminals with enrolments and retained records.

Many hospitals, one provider

Rapitt grew up in healthcare. Its first production deployment is a regional healthcare IT provider that monitors hospitals, clinics and suppliers from one console: 101 servers scanned live across 21 client organisations and 15 VPNs, swept in under a minute.

Hospital groups use the same model internally — each hospital as a client, each with its own network and its own contacts — and central IT sees all of them in one place. Read more on multi-tenant monitoring.

Healthcare questions

Does Rapitt read patient data?

No. Rapitt reads system health and configuration — services, drives, settings, installed software. It does not open application databases or files.

Where is the data held?

Each customer has its own tenant instance. Hosting region is agreed at contract; contact us for the options available in the UAE and wider region.
